A client described the Silicon Valley to me using the phrase: "Long life, small town." I like that. I enjoy people and I enjoy cultivating relationships. That's one of the reasons why I got into PR. That phrase reminds me to treat folks with respect and to manifest win-win situations for my colleagues, clients and peers. Everyone should win in a properly constructed deal - be it a pitch, a PR plan, a launch or anything you do for your company, yourself or your clients. Long life, small town. I've seen folks burn bridges in this Valley and I'd hate to be in their shoes. You might say, "Long life, small town, long memories."
