I'm excited and proud to announce the Society of New Communications Research - press release here. My colleague, Mike Manuel, and I were tapped to help the thinktank explore the implications of new communications tools and methods. I'll tell ya, this is a smart group and I'm just glad they needed a notetaker so I could help out. I'm excited to see what our group will learn as we dive into this area of reserach. I think it's interesting to see a group form so quickly to study these new methods of communicating - evidence of their power and influence in such a short period of time.
