Weeks keep going by and I can't find the time and justification for maintaining a blog about PR. Maybe it's because there are so many PR blogs already managed by some pros that make it hard to own an original thought. And maybe too it's because there are some fricken' PR-blog-atrocities out there that are dragging our profession into the gutter. Either way, the writing is on the wall. Or, better yet, the wall is blank and so is this blog. I'm tired of paying TypePad each month for a service I don't use. Spare time is extremely sparse and when I find it, I have a long list of other places it should be spent. I think the blogosphere is well represented by PR folks and I may be doing a favor by killing a blog instead creating a new one. I've thought about discussing new topics - things I'm interested in - but truthfully, I don't like blogs that aren't focused. By adding new topics to this blog I'll just further alienate the remaining readers that have bookmarked this site for a PR discussion. I'll have to chew on it a bit more, but instead of trying to think of something else to say about PR, I thought I'd chime in with a basic update - if for no other reason that to file a post in the month of May and justify another few dollars to TypePad.
